Resolutions, goals...whatever you wanna call 'em!

Okay gang, I’ve decided to turn this blog into a bit of a way to keep track of (and progress on) my New Year’s Resolutions *and* keep track of my writing progress. I’ve found I work much better if I can give myself a goal and then stick to it!

On the first note, I was looking at some of my vacation pics from when I was 18 (20 years ago) and holy cow! I knew I’d gained a lot of weight, but yowza! While I’m realistic enough to know that I’ll probably never hit that stage again , I’d certainly like to lose at least 20 pounds over the next year. Sooo, my goal over the next month is to work out at least three times a week, limit my caloric intake to 2000, and drink at least 60 ounces of water a day. Those goals will be going up (workout schedule & water) and down (caloric intake) on the third Wednesday of each month. I’ll be weighing in and reporting here every Wednesday.

When it comes to the writing front, I scheduled myself to finish one longer book (84,000) words that should be released in late fall of 2006, and a shorter erotica novella that’s the third installment of my RuneQuest series. I’ll be popping in on Saturdays to update ya’ll on any progress I’m making there in addition to any fun writing developments.

On the off chance anyone wants to comment , I can’t access blogs from work, so I’ll check in when I get home from work.
